Sabine Seymour is invited to speak about Functional Aesthetics at TEDxVienna on November 29, 2010.

Functional aesthetics describes the concept of merging a fashionable technology object (particularly fashionable wearables) deemed aesthetically pleasant with technically enhanced functionality. Seymour presents projects that show the importance of the interdisciplinary synergies that are created with works brushing various disciplines to convey such concept. The projects are based in art, design, or are commercial products and might seem like explorations into wonder worlds . The talk is an attempt to stimulate a critical discourse.
